Right tool for the right job. In this case a Galaxy 8. Great job, sharp and clear. Luck of course plays a part, particularly with small flying insects but don't discount your skill.

But what I was getting at is, do you routinely get exceptional photos like this with your cell phone or do you at least have the expectation of getting nice photos with it?
Is that your carry around camera?
I have a flip phone, don't take photos with it, have never taken a photo with a phone. Is your phone noted for superior photo performance?
Eventually I will have to replace my flip phone, I figure I might as well get something that's capable of nice photos when that happens.
