Later reports said that the chanting was Ron Paul supporters and was in response to a point of order.
Don't know which it was but either way it was certainly not the behavior I expect from adults.

Well considering the Reince Priebus is pleading with those delegates to show her a little respect... I would have to say no it wasn't a chant for statehood for Puerto Rico

In politics I would not disallow anything. Even a party going so low as to inject folks into a conference just to disrupt it.
This election period is turning into one of the dirtiest and deplorable I have seen.

Gee, I can't believe I've lived in New York all my life and didn't know that all Puerto Ricans wore the same hats. I guess you didn't notice the fact that they were cowboy hats and their shirts were the Texas flag.

The first part of your article explains what was going on. The Romney people asked for a rule change that would not allow states in favor of Ron Paul to vote. Not allowing delegates to vote is unAmerican. The Paul supporters were causing a ruckus over the effort to keep Maine from being recognized. The lady from Puerto Rico just happened to be the next speaker. She was chanting USA also.
A lot of you older guys on here have seen real racism during the 40s, 50s, and 60s. You know that is not what was going on in that clip. It seems that people today are on a hunt and looking behind every rock for something to call racism. That is the real sad truth.
