While playing with my toys (camera stuff) I noticed that many of my view camera lenses were mounted to the lens board using a mount that was the same as enlarger lenses were mounted on the enlarger lens board. I have a bellows with a Nikon Mount and mount for enlarger lenses sop I can use them for macro lenses. The lens is 80+ years old and was not color corrected. I like the look. - Dave

It certainly looks a lot different from the more newer lens, much softer of a bygone era.

Knowing what kind of lens you used, the softness of the photos is really nice.

...it’s like looking through leaded glass...I wonder what it would do to B&W...?

As you probably know different colors focus at a slightly different plane so some of the colors are out of focus. This is true with either Black & White or color. So the pictures are in focus and not at the same time. I will be using this setup for some portraits - Dave

I too enjoy messing around with old & new gear and checking-out old lenses for quality and ocassionally discover a winner in the pile. A lot of the German cameras were quite impressive mechanical masterpieces.

Really nice shots, and that lens really cool. Almost a type of “Steam Punk” look to it.
