Ever notice that most of the articles predicting the demise of DSLRs are posted by people who have switched to mirrorless?

But then does it really matter to those who like the DSLR (like me) if the DSLR is demised? Actually it's a good thing as there is no more GAS.

It doesn't matter to me either, I was just making an observation. My Nikon Df is still my sweet baby.

I do not own a DSLR. But the Df does intrigue me. What size quality images will it deliver?
Thanks.

Yeah. The guy who got me to switch (Chicago commercial photographer, trainer, and lecturer, Will Crockett), thought the migration would happen 2012-2014. But then, many industry insiders thought Canon and Nikon would move at least five years sooner than 2018!
I waited from 2012 to 2015, then gave up. My Lumix system makes better sense to me than what they didn’t — and later did — do.

Can't wait for the demise of mirrorless! What's next?

Gear is irrelevant. I have taken some amazing images with my iPhone. It is the eye behind the viewfinder that captures the magic.
