Fascinating. Never knew that.
Now I understand why so many here are NRA nutcases foiled photographers and all that!!!
(j/k)
Oh, and it reminds me of a few threads about photographers being blamed for so many things....
Have you noticed how mean the squirrel is looking? Then add that every angle of approach is a butt shot??? Rings a bell?
"Now I understand why so many here are NRA nutcases foiled photographers and all that!!!"
I'm a lifetime member of the NRA and would be very happy for you to say that to my face.

Are you trying to say you would gladly use violence to someone who has a different opinion than you have?

I'll answer your question with a question. Do you relish someone who has never met you, has no idea of your beliefs or opinions, and has no idea of your background, intelligence, or education, calling you a "nutcase"?

Well, you are just proving that my joke hit home with you.
(j/k) means JOKING in case you are not aware. Your so called anger is misplaced, misdirected and sadly proves that my joke hit a mark I did not expect.
Live with it, this your own bias.
Also, my appreciation of NRA is simple: This organization is now detrimental to all hunters and collectors as NRA excesses are just unacceptable.
Expect a huge blow back in this sooner than later. Once the 'old angry white men' die off in the political world there will serious changes that will protect the public from loonies who think it is their right to own and use weapons that belong in military hands, not civilians.
Note that I have no issue with hunting and/or collecting guns. I have serious issues in the way they are represented. If you do not see or understand, once again, the issue is on you.
Also note that I would not have posted this answer had you not be so... Nutty about it.

Does ".... shall not infringe the right to keep and bear arms ..." mean that it's OK to have an A-bomb in my basement? That absurd thought is just an extension of the NRA's support of automatic firearms. Remember that when the 2nd amendment was written "arms" were black powder and were loaded one shot at a time from the muzzle end.
Before mass production, arms were all hand made so parts were not interchangeable. Thus in order to have enough weaponry for a "well ordered militia" it was necessary that the citizenry be able to supply their own "hand made" arms when the militia was called up so that the custom fitted parts would work together to have a functioning weapon.
What logic supports the need for the current NRA's draconian interpretation of the second amendment in today's world?

You tell me. Read what I posted, please. I agree with you.
As happens so often with you, your alligator mouth has overloaded your humming bird ass.

Funny, you are the one jumping the err... gun and all that yet try to weasel out by blaming others...
I also tried to keep with limits of decency and kept from being personal, something you seem not able to do. Too bad.
As I already said twice, you are the one who has to live with it, not me.
Enjoy.

And to think this all started out from watching a Elmer Fudd cartoon.

Elmer still provoke strong reaction!!!!
After watching the first one I let the rest go and it played quite a few thing that reflect the point of view of the time... Not reassuring since it seems we are stepping backward now...
