Background. Shooting Nikon D810. Post processing with LR
I just shot about 120 pictures of a rental unit before renters move in. I shot in RAW and should have shot in jpeg. I’m going to put the pictures on a thumb drive for record keeping. What is the easiest way to now convert to JPEG for record keeping? I don’t want to do any post processing.

Well, if I was using my Canon, I'd open the RAW files in the editor (DPP) and convert and save as a JPEG without any changes.
Do you have a RAW editor for Nikon?
I'm not aware of a "shotgun" converter.

You have to do some processing, or your files going to look like crap, they'll be really flat! But that's the beauty of raw, you'll be able to get the best out of that data once processed!

Use Nikon's supplied software to do a straight conversion to JPEG. It should read the metadata in the JPEG preview image that is stuffed into every raw file, and process the raw data using the camera menu settings. If you did your job well at the camera, capturing suitable exposures and white balance, the resulting JPEGs should look good. If a few are not to your taste, you may tweak the raw before converting.

You said you used LR? You must be unaware about how to export in LR. Simply link to LR as normal and then select all photos you want to export and export as a JPEG in whatever size you want directly to your thumb drive. Very easy.

Export them as jpeg out of Lightroom?

That's what I always do. I would not use a thumb drive for record keeping, I would suggest a more robust archiving scheme that involves 3 copies - an active one on your system drive, a backup on an external drive, and a backup to cloud storage. Thumb drives get lost, break, or grow feet.

But I am confused - first sentence you say you do post processing with LR, then the last sentence you say you don't want to do any post processing. All you need to do is export without any additional processing other than picking/creating the export preset.

Better yet just extract the embedded JPEGs from the raw files -- take a few seconds.

But I didn't see a link to get it.

The D810 has two card slots. You can set the camera up to shoot Raw to the SD card and JPG to the CF Card...

...to quality, usually. In many cases it's the same as the regular JPEG. FujiX embeds a lower-res version but very likely still usable.

Oops! sorry I didn't notice the link I provided was to a discontinued item. There are other options to do the same: https://havecamerawilltravel.com/photographer/extract-jpg-raw-2/

Exactly. Proofs. The JPEG stuffed into a raw file is tiny and usually not worth printing larger than 4x6 inches or so.

This doesn't help - he's already taken the pictures, processed them in Lightroom, but can't seem to figure out how to get them out.

Irfanview (free) and use the Batch Processing feature.
