That's a sand dune, James. I was up on the 4th story of our condo so above the dune. Cool place to watch storms but you have to know when to go inside!

Wonderful capture! I especially like the way the colors in the foreground lights act as a great counterpoint to the stark nature of the clouds and lightning!
