Glad you liked it. PP: Upped exposure, contrast, clarity, vibrance, saturation and blue hue. Lowered highlight and whites. More black. Sharpened. All done in Lightroom.

Great scene. However, the blue overpowers the wonderful tree spacing and subtle tones of the rest of the photo. When desaturated a lot, these come on with a lot more power.

Per your suggestion. I know that often it comes down to personal taste but there is something about the one with more blue that I like better.

I definitely appreciate your trying out an idea. I truly would like to know why you like the blue, as my approach to the photo appears to not be the same as yours.

I like the first ("blue") one better. It has a mysterious, ethereal quality that is lost in the second version...
