He was fighting so that his ancestors would be treated equally, so are the NFL players.

Kaperdick has come out and said it is NOT for equality but his hatred for the American flag and those who died for it. Check out his hateful comments about the Betsy Ross flag and Nike.

"I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color,” Kaepernick told NFL Mediaafter Friday’s game.

“To me, this is bigger than football and it would be selfish on my part to look the other way. There are bodies in the street and people getting paid leave and getting away with murder.”

So you got hatred out of that. Ok.

By his own hateful speech.
America is the greatest and most diverse nation on earth.
You don't like it here you are most welcome to leave to whatever utopia you want to.
In fact why haven't you left America if it is so bad?
I notice libs bitch about it but when it comes down to taking action and going to one of the dozen Utopian countries they always name they chicken shit out and stay in the greatest and best and least racist nation ever on the earth.

That's precisely the problem with this. The idea that a group of people cannot succeed because some other group is actively oppressing them. The fact is...nobody is oppressing anyone. This is the big public myth that won't die. Everytime a "person of color" fails to get ahead, it's someone else's fault.

THAT'S the biggest problem. The failure of folks to take ownership and responsibility for their situation.

Until people quit pointing at other people for their failures nothing will change.

My Great Grandfather fought in the Civil War (North) and was also a POW. He fought to free people from all sorts of slavery and loved the flag. Too many people since have died for our country and for what our flag stands for. Have to agree that if you can't admit that you made a mistake then you have contributed to your own failure
