Other than being briefly mounted and checked out as A OK when it arrived, the lens HASN'T BEEN USED. I’m asking $700.00 And I’ll ship it anywhere in the lower 48 at my expense. Any photos I could attach would look exactly like the ones you'll see when you're checking prices on Amazon, B&H, Adorama, eBay, etc. Still, I will provide one if you'd like.

The attached hand-held shot of an inch-long andromorphic Rambur's Forktail is a typical example of what you can expect using this lens in the field.

I'm, more curious about why selling: Doesn't meet your needs, performance, just needed the cash, grey market, etc. ? It is one I'm interested, but not ready to buy yet.

The Micro Nikkor 105 is the cornerstone of Nikon's long-established line of outstanding macro lenses. It meets my needs and more. Because of a series of events involving misunderstandings, inheritance and gifts, I own two of them. One is a few of years older than the other. Except for this, they appear to be optically and mechanically identical. On balance, I presume it will be easier to sell the new one. Seems a good deal to me...
