Went to Gettysburg last week.

Took a college trip with my son last week. One of stops was Gettysburg College. We had an extra day and we got lucky with good weather so we took in the battlefield. Here are a few from the day.

Nice photo's. My wife and I and two other friends drove there last summer. Some of the buildings in town have chipped bricks from rifle fire. Fantastic place to visit.

My wife works at the college, PJ, and if your son decides to
go there, he will absolutely love the college, professors,

We had a wonderful tour of the school. Both my son and I were very impressed with the facilities and the staff we got to meet. And we loved the cookies in the cafeteria!

Gettysburg Parks and Services do a great job making the battlefields look as they did 160 years ago. At the office we got a tour guide who came out and drove your car around to the different battlefields and explained everything and answered questions. It's really an awe inspiring place to visit.

I wish some people would stop demanding that these monuments should be removed. They are all part of Our Country, and They should be protected. That is a beautiful capture, and the perfect location for that monument of Lee!
