For those using Studio 2, do you also use another PP software (i.e. Elements)? If so, do you process Studio first or your other software first?

I have just started playing with it so I'm not an expert but I use Studio last.

Yes and no. Depending upon what the photo looks like, I select the program or programs I believe will do the best job. Stay in RAW type files until you finish up in jpeg or tiff. Frankly, Studio 2 is not totally ready for prime time IMHO. There are a number of important features that will be added very soon and then my statement is no longer valid (perhaps). See their roadmap on the website. Luminar 3 is my most often used program, then Photoshop and at time Lightroom.

I have it set up as a plug in for Affinity. I do my basic editing in Affinity and then go to Studio. When finished in Studio I send the file back to Affinity for any final touches and export.

I am becoming a real fan of Topaz. Their AI products have worked their way into my permanent workflow. It started with AI Clear, which I'll call V1. That was part of the old studio, after it was purchased. Topaz rolled up AI Clear into their DeNoise product - but I'm not real crazy overr this versions although it is reported to be the same. So getting back to Studio 2 I use it to launch the AI Clear.

Studio 2 doesn't have crop, heal etc tools yet. I understand they're coming soon. Lightroom or Topaz Studio 1 first for the basic tools. Then, to Studio 2. Mostly just playing with it since it has all the filters that we Pro ones in Studio 1 and has true layers to work with.

I mayhave misunderstood your post but if you have Denoise AI it now has a drop down that you can use to select AI Clear.

Yes, you are correct. However, I don't like that version of Clear. I'm sure Topaz will tell you it is the same as the one available in the Studio products, but I think not. I still like the one that is embedded in Studio or Studio2. But I thank Topaz for giving me the DeNoise product free, since I bought Clear about a month prior to them combining the product.

I generally start using and uploading in Lightroom. At the moment I am only using certain tools in Studio 2, primarally the A/I sharpening and will slowly explore the rest over time. Topaz always has been a great plug-in but I like to have multiple choices for editing and don't always want to create Tiff files vs. the limited size savings through Lightroom.
