Hydrangeas
Used the MPE-65 yesterday to take pictures of Hydrangeas Mrs B had cut. It’s a long time since I used this lens, I’d forgotten how difficult it is especially the low keeper rate.
I tried, mostly unsuccessfully, to get a number of separate points in focus. I remember Brenda posting a couple of excellent picture some time ago where the focus seemed to flow around the picture (sadly something I've been unable to emulate).
It's never ceases to amaze me what you see when you look close enough. The only disappointment was that although there were many tiny webs present I didn't catch a single spider.
I’ve shared my favourites.
These are nice Paul. I haven't tried shooting Hydrangeas and they look quite fiddly to stack and challenging all round. The last image is interesting by showing the productive parts still under cover just before they pop open. I haven't looked at these flowers that closely before but I am going to now that I have seen what you have found.
Thanks for the thumbs up Mark

Thanks Brenda.
They are not stacked just single shots hand held but you are right that would be very fiddly.
Well done and quite lovely colors.
