It is still available. Here is what I posted as an answer to that question:

Good question since it's an extraordinary camera. Having abandoned DSLR's some time ago for size, weight , multiple lens reasons (and age), I've gone to smaller, less complicated cameras. This move, from Sony RX10 to Leica V-Lux 5 allows me to use one iPhone app to control all three of my cameras, use only 2 different batteries (the Q and V-Lux use the same one), one less charger, the same flash and other accessories. It simplifies my bag considerably.

I give up a superior focus system, particularly for high frame rates with constant focus and metering, 200mm on the long end, a half stop on the wide end. None of these are major losses for me compared to simplicity of equipment.
