Hello everyone. I like to shoot flowers, wildlife, sports and landscape. I have a Tamron 70 200, a Nikon 28 70, and a Nikon 55 200. They are all used lens. Being on a very low budget is there any other lens I should try to get?

You have a decent selection of glass. The only suggestion might be too look into a third party macro lens around the 100 mm focal length, although that depends on whether you would like to get true macro opposing closeup work with your flowers. A macro lens is also beneficial for candid portrait work if need be.

Re: my buddy (which lens). The lenses you have are perfectly suitable for every thing you shoot, except sports. For sports I would suggest a used Tamron 150-600. If that lens is not for you, I would try the Nikkor AF-P 70-300. I own that lens but I never shoot sports, so I really don't know if it would handle fast action. You did not mention which camera you use. If you have a crop sensor camera, that would be helpful for getgting up "close" to the action. I hope this helps. Davidb1879.

I'll second the macro suggestion. You don't say which Nikon 28-70 you have. Since you say "Low budget" I'm assuming it's the F3.5-4.5 version and not the 2.8.

Then that's not a low budget lens. It was replaced by the 24-70 F2.8 AFS VR and was a part of Nikon's "Holy Trinity" before the 24-70 came out. I've been looking at picking one up myself but being on a fixed budget, they are still pricey. That said, I do have the 35-70 F2.8 that the 28-70 replaced...

For my flower photos I use a Nikkor 24-85 lens. So far it works superbly for me. When I want macro shots of flowers or insects I use my Nikkor 105mm f2.8 Micro lens. It does well for me as well. But if you don't have the Micro lens then your 28-70 lens should be ideal.

I really love my 28 70 2.8. I know it is not a low budget lens but for me to get more lens I am on a low budget

I'd suggest a Sigma or Tamron 150-600 zoom for wildlife....Used of course to keep costs down...

I suggest a super telephoto for wildlife. Some are Nikon 200-500mm, Sigma 150-600mm, and Tamron 150-600mm. Whichever lens you need to get a teleconverter for it. That will give greater range when needed. For landscapes I suggest Nikon's 10-20mm or better yet Tokina's 11-16.
