Good morning all, name is Mark, and have been shooting since 2011, and am currently using a Nikon D5500 with various lenses.
I was the recipient of a infrared sensor developed by Strikefinder for use in capturing lightning and other quick sequence action shots. I’ve been having some trouble getting the shots I want, during the day, using the factory recommended settings for my camera (ISO 100, f/11, 1/40”). Anyone ever use this product and have some tips/tricks?
Thank you for your time.

Welcome. Perhaps pick a specific shot, or two, and upload so we can see the problem??

Are you trying to shoot lightning or something else? Only a laser pointer or lightning will trip the sensor in daylight.
Or are you trying to use the motion detect feature? Then you have a sensitivity dial to adjust.
Also, for either mode you have to use the proper cord connected to your cameras remote control port or you have no interconnection.
