We've got the Manhattan skyline, Hudson River, Jersey City fireworks, the NYC fireworks on the East River (in the background, look between the buildings), and the reflection of my office in the window. (Yes, that is the view from my cubical ;-) )

Fortunately, no. Jersey City put on a bigger show then my town, the month train pass works on holidays too, and I figured watching the fireworks from a comfy chair in air-conditioning was better than standing in the crowds.

Nice shot. I didn't venture out on the 4th. I had to work in the morning and just rested in the afternoon.

A complex, engaging image that held my attention. I look forward to the day people don't feel they have to apologize for gear that some may feel is inferior. IMPACT, originality, light, composition, emotion...if those are missing, what is the point of a $3,000 camera and lens 🤨
