Awesome..... with an avatar like yours Iā€™m expecting some incredible photos!!!!!!šŸ‘šŸ‘šŸ“·

The avatar is from several years ago when they had a celebration of airplane designer Burt Rutan. The plane in the pic is the Boomarang. One wing is short and one is long. The pilot flies from one side and the other is the cargo locker. There is going to be another anniversary of his planes (I think this year in fact). He designed the Voyager - the aircraft that his brother Dick and Jeanne Yeager (I don't think there's a relation to THE Yeager) flew around the world nonstop without refueling. Several of Burt's designs have gone on to become popular composite homebuilt planes that excel in efficiency.

Wow planepics, you sure do know your planes and history of aviation. How fascinating!
I presume you go to airshows all the time too!

Not all the time...I'm not retired yet...got 11 more years, but Oshkosh comes during school break (I'm a special needs bus monitor) so it's convenient. PS I have an autographed book of Burt's career, bought a couple years ago at the show. There's another airshow west of me in October and sometimes one at Scott AFB (about 20 min east)

Iā€™m sure all the UHH members are looking forward to what you will post in October.

On July 6th the photo shoot was at the Antique Airshow in Big Bear Lake, CA.
I tried to capture the "not so typical" airshow shots.
These are best viewed in download mode!

Great set Brent! I like the variety and different compositions.
