Thanks, Sylvia. I was actually crowing inside my car! Photographically it's not great, and my windshield isn't the best see-through window. At least with all the rain it was pretty clean! I knew if I tried to step out she'd dart away before I got a shot off. The calf looked quite young.

You just have to get that lucky shot when you can and call it a bonus! The calf is all legs so not very old at all. Well done.

So glad you got such a variety of images at Glacier! I live about 45 minutes from the Park, and go there often. Seems like every time is the first, and you captured a lot of what makes the park a "must-see" Fine and appealing work...

Nice shots. Hope to see more when you get them processed. You're making me miss home, but it's great seeing Montana wildlife again!

Thanks, Dreamon. I think Montana has to be a really nice place. I wouldn't want to live there in the winter, though! But I sure fell in love with all that wide-open space!

Thanks so much, Tommy. I can't imagine living there, although I fell in love with Montana. I think the changing weather really keeps it fresh. It went from totally socked in and drizzly to blue skies and sunshine every little whipstitch. And back again!

Very nice set Kathy. I hope you weren't primitive camping when that bear roamed into your campsite. 👍😊

Have the glaciers all melted away as the signs used to tell us they would by 2020?

Thanks, Jan. Actually, I was in a tent. I happened to be going to my car when he wandered through. He took a drink out of a puddle right behind my car, but spooked when I unlocked the car to grab my camera. He headed straight for the bear box!

There are two glaciers remaining. One I did get pictures of. The other, one must hike to. They've taken the signs down, as they now see a slower melt pattern.

We were repeatedly told that Glacier isn't named for the presence of glaciers, but for the valleys formed by glaciers in times past.

Thank you, Donna. I seldom get the opportunity to see actual wildlife. So these were a real treat. Lots of deer!

Hi Azpiclady, Your photo of the horses having a conflab on the hill reminded me of how the residents of the small town where I grew up years ago would meet at the Post Office about 4:30 PM and wait the for evening mail delivery. There was never a quiet moment as everyone knew everyone else's business and shared it with all who were in hearing distance. I liked your pictures too.
