Nikon D850 lightroom question

I have D500, upgraded D750 to D850. Formatted both cards in camera. Set up XQD as primary, SDHC as backup. Raw and Jpg fine.
Photos in camera look great. When I downloaded into Lightroom, 8 of 174 previewed and imported, the others 'preview not available'. Most of the ones that didn't import where shot same day and same settings.
Thoughts appreciated. I'll save both and put new cards in the camera, because I don't want to mess them up.

Adobe publishes charts on what is needed as cameras are introduced. Lightroom 6 had 14 updates. The latest is frozen in time as there are no more updates to the perpetual version past 6.14.
If you look up Adobe's charts you'll see that the D850 was covered by LR 6 update 13.
Go to the Help menu and look for "Update" and do it. If that doesn't work there are a couple other ways to do it. But, somehow get it updated to the final version. It should be good for years.
Having written all that, do consider the subscription. There is plenty of new, cool stuff in versions since 6.14.

Updated to 6.14 this am. all good. all downloaded.

Upgrade LR to get the latest Camera Raw.
