Beautiful car.

As a teen back in 1965 a friend of mine had one. It was just a big old tank he bought for $75.00. Bet he wishes he had it today to restore.

Drove a Packard "loaner" from a body shop that painted my 1955 Chevrolet Convertible in 1962. The Packard Clipper was purple. The body shop owner wanted "townies" to know whenever anyone had their car in his shop for paint or body work.

I drove it for a week.

My girl friend was out of town for the week, but the back seat in that thing was the size of a Queen Bed. Never got her into that Packard.

Oh Well, The Chevy wasn't that bad.

Nice, I'm really liking no.1 and the fall of the shadow over the pressed panels

Our marriage and honeymoon car was a '50 Packard that I bought from a college professor after a limb fell on the roof for $45. I laid on the seat and kicked the roof back out. We drove the car over 50,000 miles in our first year of marriage (1963) and sold it for $50! It was a 4-door and not a slantback, but a great car!

back then body and fenders made of real thick gage metal. Not the "tin foil" metal they use today.
