Hello All..

I have a 4000mAh power bank that is fine for my Sony A6300, however, I also have an iPhone 5s and of course it does not charge that too..
Does anyone know of a power bank that I can get to charge both devices? I don't want to carry 2 of them with me! lol
I would also like to get one that is not too much $$$..
I think mine was under about $15..

thanks a bunch!
DT

Why does the power bank not work for the iPhone?

The Tesla Powerbank will charge both and has built in connectors for both and to charge the Powerbank. A bit more than yours, but VERY nice and convenient and charges the iPhone faster than some others. I is rated at 1800 mhso mightn't be big enough for your needs. https://shop.tesla.com/us/en/product/apparel/powerbank.html?sku=8756721-00-A.html

These can also be used as charging adapters for iOS or MicroUSB devices. It has a built in USB2 charging cable, and you can plug an iPhone and an Android device or camera into the Micro USB cable. Since all are built in, you can offer to charge a travel companion's device regardless of the device. In my experience this can charge 2 phones if neither is totally dead.

Generally, the power bank's battery capacity is proportional to its price.
Most battery outputs are the older USB-A jacks. Use a charging cable with a USB-A plug at one end and appropriate USB plug at the other. You can get cables with USB adapters attached so one cable can charge many different devices. One of my cables will fit USB-micro, Lightning and USB-C devices. Thus, with a single cable, I can charge my battery and then charge devices with three USB type jacks.

I use this one: https://www.amazon.com/Anker-PowerCore-Portable-Double-Speed-Recharging/dp/B01JIWQPMW/ref=sr_1_8?keywords=power+bank&qid=1561302409&refinements=p_89%3AAnker&rnid=2528832011&s=gateway&sr=8-8

It will charge an ipad more than twice, several phones more than twice. Has 3 outputs for charging multiple devices at once, and dual inputs for faster recharging of the internal battery. I think this is technically about the largest one of these things you're allowed to take on a plane. I have never regretted getting it.

I have the unit below - lots of power. When I purchased, it was close to the max mAh allowed as carry-on on US airlines.
