Here are some shots from yesterday taken at the Vanderbilt Estate in Hyde Park, NY. The property was purchased in 1895 by Frederick Vanderbilt, and the 54 room house was built between 1896 and 1899. In 1940, after Frederick Vanderbilt's death in 1938, the property was donated to the National Park Service.

The first image is of the house. I did not tour the inside... too many tour buses there yesterday. The rest of the shots are of the grounds. There are some photos of the garden pool that are similar. I was trying some different angles and shooting low also.
