Did you try the smoked beer (Rauchbier) in Bamberg? See the baby's hanging leg in old town hall?
Did you pass Loreley, already? Probably did with the Pfalgrafenstein photo. Love that Loreley song.
Your next stop probably is Nuremberg then Regensberg. Both are really beautiful and historic.

Didn’t try Rauchbier, yes, saw the babies leg. Nuremberg etc etc photo’s probably tomorrow. Weather in Nuremberg wasn’t too good.

Just a heads up. Get your camera ready. In Nuremberg, they'll take you to: 1. stadium like park where Hitler gave his speech and the building they call Documentation Center. Very sad history. 2. If you have time, the place they held the court hearing for the Judgment at Nurnberg, 3. Fruenirche (Church of our Lady) with mechanical clock featured in the movie with Spencer Tracy and Marlene Dietrich.

I am so jealous of the sunshine. We took that tour a year ago and had little to no sunshine. Loved your pictures, especially the paintings in the window of the castle! Haha wonder what they were advertising.
