Here is part 2 of a great day at Laguna Seca in Monterey California last month at the Ferrari Racing Days. These were all taken at turns 8/8A, The Corkscrew. This turn is arguably the most iconic in North America and I have spent MANY hours there.
As I noted in part 1, there were two Formula 1 cars. Number 234 is the car Michael Schumacher drove in the first 5 races of 2004. Number 240 is the car Rubens Barrichello drove to win the 2004 Chinese Grand Prix. I am only posting photos of Number 240 in this set, as number 234 had two cameras mounted on it in this session that spoiled it. The others are track versions of the 488 and an earlier GT car (a 430 I think).
Part 3 will be of panning shots between The Corkscrew and turn 9.

Nice shots, thanks for sharing
Very nice! I was there 50 years ago!
Thanks for sharing! Since I'm not familiar with the landscape, how far away were you? Any lens/exposure information you'd care to share. Keep up the good work.
Thanks for the thumbs up!
Thank you for the comment; I'm glad you like them.

Thank you nimbushopper. I attended my first race there in October 1962, before I was old enough to drive. I'm fortunate to live only a little over two hours away.

Thank you for the kind comment Bruce. You are not very far from a place that has been on my bucket list for a long time, Watkins Glen.

I was stationed at NAS Moffett from 70-72, lived in Mountain View! I'll bet property values have gone up a bit, lol
