Bemyar gimbal head.
Has anyone tried this Bemyar gimbal head?
I was skeptical but went ahead and ordered one - $77.07 including shipping, from France and it arrived in about two weeks.
It's worth noting that it is intended for use with long telephoto lenses.
I tried it shooting baseball with a Canon 5D Mark IV and Canon 100-400mm VII lens mounted on a monopod. The body w/lens is balanced and remains in position when you let go, even if pointed upward or downward. It worked great. No issues, no complaints.

Just ordered one. Looks good. Website strange in that I tried to order a 200mm plate but the order screen vaporized.
I ordered one and it’s been over three weeks and still waiting. Tried emailing them no reply. Tried calling their phone number but it just said something in a foreign language and hung up. I’m hoping that I didn’t loose my money on this.

Any gimbal head w/long plate adds to the ease of balancing and enjoyment when using my 12 pound camera/lens rig!
I also had issues ordering a longer plate.
Customer Service at contact@bemyar.com provided me with a separate order link.
I purchased one and it works well except the swing arm has a fixed tension and is not adjustable. Is it adjustable on the heads that you received?
I ordered one - it took at least 5 weeks or more to receive, not sure exactly - did not like. i emailed them to return it. Received a return email to send to address in the box. There was no address in the box. Tried emailing again and each time it bounced back. Tried calling them, each time I heard the same as hiside.
i got so disgusted that I contacted my credit card company who conditionally gave me a credit. Several weeks later they made the credit final. I guess they could not get them either. They are still advertising on Facebook. Buyer beware.
I ordered the Bemyar Gimbal this past March 16 and received it on April 10. You get what you pay for. The item does the job, not well put adequately. With a 9 lb camera rig combo (Pentax K1 and a Takumar SMC 500mm/f4.5) on a sturdy tripod, the system is workable. This gimbal is not a precision item (what is at $77.07). When you loosen the pan knob, the system will freely rotate, but if you loosen too much, it will begin to wobble. The more serious issue is that when you loosen the tilt for free movement, the arm actually will open a gap at the joint causing your entire rig to tilt. There is no bushing lock to prevent the tilting, and this is due to the simple & inexpensive construction. I don't dislike this but understand this tool's limitation, considering its price point. More expensive systems ($400+) would likely not have this issue. I have yet to use this system in the field extensively, but I can already tell if I started to use a gimbal mount all the time, I would become dissatisfied with this this item. An occasional use will probably be fine.

Thank you for your input, I really appreciate it.
Jamers.
I have an Benro gimbal head that I paid a lot more than that for but you know what, I do not regret the purchase even one little bit!
I have received this gimbal. Like previous comments, its works great as intended but the quality is not what a $4-500 unit would provide. Works well though! My only issue is that I could not get a reply to email, calls, chats to the company. All in all... I'm satified but may have a bit of Gimbal envy when I see others.
I purchased one several months ago. It was two week late based on promised delivery time, although payment was pulled from my bank the day after the order. I have played with it for some time now, and I am happy with it. One small issue, and that is a lens issue, not the head. The focus ring on the lens is partially blocked on the left. I am using a Nikor 200-500 mm lens with a Nikon D3200.
Happy you got this amazing lens .. for the price ...and performance ...I don’t seem to have too much pinch on the focus ring on the left ...I have plenty of room ..
