*facepalm* the suggestion was that you contact those of importance with your question, we've attended this festival several times on those dates and the blooms were just starting and this is different every year. last year the blooms were in full swing June 12th.. Your asking that mother nature be on time.. and I can promises you and anyone else.. she take her own sweet time making this happen. same holds true for the fall colors.. never trust some chart or schematic..
