Glorious day yesterday, golf outing with my buddy John. My favorite course...all desert, no homes (on reservation). If you come to Arizona and play golf you must try this layout.

Looks beautiful. We are south of Tucson so it would be a trick, but maybe someday.

I'll keep my clubs in the car just in case I wander into that area! If you come to PA, you should try Morgan Hill. I hate the course but continue to play it because I like the challenge even though I do poorly there. It is all hills and seldom does a ball rest in a perfectly flat spot. The offset is that the scenery is second to none and on Golfnow I get some good prices to play there. The course is very well maintained, just a tough place to play.

Thanks! Here is one more of me taken by my friend...the 8th hole of the Cholla Course (there are two courses, each great buy Cholla in a class of it's own). This was perhaps one of the best shots of my life time, the only time i reached this par 5 in 3 (550 treacherous yards). If you look way high in the sky you can actually see the tiny ball on its way to the green.
Second shot was taken after a thunderstorm rolled through late in afternoon. You will never mistake this for Pennsylvania! (I lived in Philly for 5 years in 1969-74 before golf)

Wow, beautiful mountain scenery! Makes me want to head that way and tee up! Looks like someone's ball just off the green -- I'd putt from there. The course looks like it too rolls a bit, but good shots could be had from the middle of the fairway.
