I've visited and photographed many churches and cathedrals. What you've done is to give us a sense of scale here. The people help with that; but the fact that you have the lower areas of the structure with a view into that dome gives us an idea of just how big the whole is. I'll keep that in mind this summer when I visit Köln cathedral with my students. Thanks.

If you haven't been to India, you can't imagine the immensity of the palaces, castles, and temples. They are complexes and so ornately decorated.
