Yeah, it's a little out of focus. Heh. Just for fun anyway.

It's the out of focus aspect that makes this a winner IMO. You have to do a bit of work to figure it out, and then it's Whoa, a bear!
Linda - that's exactly the reaction I wanted. Er, it's about all I could do with the OOF bear. Thanks for the comments.

I couldn’t tell what it was until I read Linda’s post. Then I saw.

Thanks for looking. I was hoping it was just OOF enough to make a person do a double-take. I didn't plan it that way originally. Duh...

Yes. I had to work to figure it out, too. At first, I thought it was a moose.
Oh WOW....I never saw the bear at all..........soooo cool.
Holy Cow, I didn't see the bear because I was focusing on the tree and the bird I think is in there. Looks like the bear is looking at it, maybe a flicker? Now I can't stop seeing the bear. What a great photo!
Thanks everyone - I appreciate you taking the time to figure it out. Especially appreciate the kind comments. I think most of you reacted as I'd hoped. Again, it was just an accident the photo came out that way.
Here's the next shot. It's about 25 feet behind out cabin.

We've had some really good looking ones, and a few that looked like they could use a good meal. Some really clean, some look like they've just come in from a hard day. LOVE dem bears...
