I purchased a new Fujinon XF16mm f1.4 a few weeks back, but didn’t care for that much wide angle. I contacted Adorama to return it and exchange it for the Fujinon XF23mm f1.4 lens. They sent me the shipping label and they received the return lens this Tuesday morning at 10:53 am at their dock. Their web site said they would process it and the new lens would ship in 2-3 days.
However, I received an email from them this afternoon at 4:25 pm letting me know the new lens had shipped by UPS 2 day delivery and would be here on Thursday afternoon. In all my years of buying anything online, I have never seen anything ship this fast after a return. The new lens literally went out 5 hours after the return was processed. Kudos to Adorama for their service. I’ll be buying more from them, especially since every local camera store has gone out of business.
That is wonderful! I bought a great camera direct from Olympus USA's website. They promised a FULL manual. I am waiting to see how long that takes. I paid for 2nd day AIR for the camera, and that was FINE.
