Good 1st try. Stick around the bee balm and you will have plenty to practice on. You caught the glow on the ruby throat too, nice.

These are better than my first try(even that last one). An easy way to shoot them is in aperture priority with an ISO of 400 if you have enough light. There will be less noise and they will be sharper hopefully. Keep shooting and keep posting!

Very nice. I absolutely love the tree shot -- something I cannot accomplish because I cannot see them in trees. Keep up the good work!
