Please tell me if I have the focus right on this one ,Seems when I blow up the pic on the pc is getting worse .
Thank you
Bobber

From the pixel size of this version of the picture it looks to me like it is not what was originally shot, but was compressed into a relatively small format of 640 pixels wide etc. For what it is here I think it is about as good as can be expected, and explains why enlargement is so unsatisfactory. It is already at the maximum resolution for the format size.
Thank you Bobber I should have keep the original who was 3487 pixels and posted like that ?
For a D7000, this is quite a small JPG. Is your camera set to JPG fine, for maximum resolution? This size image does not tolerate much enlargement.
Also, 300-mm, max tele-photo of your zoom, is not the best focal length to evaluate your camera.
The problem is not the focus of your camera.
Thank you Nikonian
yes the camera is set on "Jpeg Fine " what is the best set up for this ? and what is the best focal lenght to evaluate the camera ?
Again thank's for your time and in insights
Sorry to say, your lens does not have a good reputation. Read more here:
http://www.kenrockwell.com/nikon/70300g.htm 2/3 down article, read about resolution at various focal lengths.
You have not yet posted a "straight from camera" JPG, which would be most helpful,
especially if captured with a standard lens.

What about this one
I reduced the noise and sharpened this photo a little. The DOF seems to be a little shallow meaning the aperture needs to be increased to possibly f13 or so.
Nice shot of avery pretty butterfly.

OK, I cropped, lightened it a bit and sharpene it a bit. For as close as this shot was taken the DOF is too shallow. I don't think the problem is with the focus.
