Here's some photos from last Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Ellison's great event with 6 countries, Australia, UK, China, USA, France and Japan. Aussies won and the Japanese a close second. The 40' catamarans were only going about 40 mph because the wind topped out at about 18k. In the first two photos, I didn't realize until I saw the photos after that there was a gray whale breaching to the right of the starting line and made a big splash in the second photo. This was my first try at Back Button Focus . . . some day I'll get it!

Outstanding shots Rich. We were cruising on the bay a few years ago and Ellison's boat blew by us at a speed of 45+, an amazing sight. And great catch of the whale breach too. chase

Thanks TriX . . They go over 50mph in a good wind and the each race is over in 15 minutes.
