Just picked up a used one in beautiful condition, with 4 batteries, charger, thumb rest and front grip. Last 2 are obscenely expensive and, I've found after a bit of use, not really necessary (and this with finger numbness brought on by spinal problems). The Q2 is more than I want to spend and i certainly do not need 47 mp.
It's a beautiful machine and I got it set up just fine without the manual; menus are short (are you listening Panasonic) and well organized. It hasn't got a lot of bells and whistles, but, the controls are simple and all you really need. Not sure I understand the in camera crop; prefer to crop in post so I reassigned that button to ael/afl.
Once I have some time I'll post some pics.

Enjoy your Q2. Look forward to your images.
Flew into and out of your airport in WhitePlains. Convenient.

It's a Q not a Q2 Stan; glad you liked Westchester County Airport! I live about 22 miles from it.

Thanks Mac; I'm looking forward to using it this weekend.
Enjoy your Leica Q! Very nice camera, and with your skills the results should be great.
Mazel Tov on the “new arrival”. I’ve had a Q for about 2 years now and at least in my world of a photography it has become the love of my life. It’s such a delight to use and has exceeded my expectations.
It’s not without its limits, but nonetheless, a gem of a camera. Manual focus is great, but so is Auto. Enjoy, enjoy.

What does it do that the Sony LX100v you just sold does not?

Besides full frame, a better EVF and much simpler interface...nothing.
I have had the Q for several years and it is a joy to use and carry. It will fit in a pocket in my safari jacket or in a small section of a camera bag.
If I am using my Nikon with a long lens I will usually bring the Leica along too to cover all bases.
You will not regret your purchase.

Thanks! Pairs well with my Sony RX10 IV.

Can't compare the 2. If you want to compare, compare to the RX-1.
