Along the Shafer Trail 4WD road, just outside Canyonlands Nat'l Park. The gloom of threatening skies couldn't quiet the riot when briefly, a bit of sunlight might break through.
Well seen and nicely taken!! All are good, like the first one best.
Dear Mr. Cany143
I was in Moab for a couple days prior to a four day mountain trail 4 wheeling Ouray, Co area convention in July 2013.
It was a wonderful 10 day photo holiday with lots of great photos.
For me, the half day of driving Shaffer Road was the highlight of the entire trip.
A return to Shaffer Road, for at least two whole days is at the top of my bucket list😜
Also, thanks for the memories & great images you posted from Shaffer Rd.

Thanks, Charley. If a return trip to the Shafer Road (area) is high on your list, you might consider looking into doing a couple of days along the 110 mile White Rim Trail in Canyonlands. Requires a permit and some logistical planning, but it is the PREMIER --and for the most part relatively easy-- 4WD trip in this area.
Very nice. Some of your best in my opinion.
Dennis
Beautifully done. The dark clouds add drama to the images. I really like the overall composition of number 1.
Another magnificent series, Cany!!
Keep them coming Cany. They help me stay sane while house hunting in the Texas Hill Country.
Beautiful all, but especially the first capture!

I like the lower angle and the flower shadows, using both makes for a better shot. The use of a lot of bright foreground adds to the menace of the threatening storm.
