How many batteries for Alaska Inside Passage?

I have a Nikon D500 and Fuji X-T20, each with 2 batteries. Is that enough for the Inside Passage knowing I can charge them each night on the ship?

How many pix. can you get out of each one ???Will you be shooting 500 pix or more a day ? As you said you can recharge them. You will only be using 1 at a time!!

Depends upon how many images you take in a day. I am a professional sports shooter and I rarely use more than one battery in my Nikon cameras in a day unless I start out with a low charge %. Can't talk about the Fuji. For comparison, I do use an EN-EL18 in my D500 in a battery grip and I would expect that will give me much longer use than the smaller battery that comes with that body. Two for each would seems to be enough as long as you charge them every night. Your camera manual should give some advice on the number of shots per charge on a good battery. Best of luck.

I shoot with canon 1d bodies. The battery is good for about 1200 clicks of the shutter. So it really depends on how many pictures you plan to take.

For the Nikon, if they are OEM batteries, you can probably get through the day with 1. For the Fuji, you'll need 2.
Travel hack: Get yourself a USB dual battery charger and a multiport USB power supply. Those OEM battery chargers are refrigerator sized.

Did the inside passage last year, about 500 pictures, i used 1 battery, but I have 3 more in my bag as this is not my only trip. I have had a couple issues with batteries lately, a few won't fully charge or are bad. Im going back to OEM batteries and OEM charger. More expensive, seem to last longer. both in shots per charge, and how many months they last.

Why not?? We seem to get caught up in this paranoia about "enough" you back up pictures to three maybe four portable hard drives then two or three versions of The Cloud" To me, yes two enough. The rest you have answered

As for the Fuji, I shoot the local flat track roller derby games and with the X-T2 or X-T3 (with batter grip mounted and two batteries in there) typically take 1200-1500 shots in a game. The readout shows only one of the batteries having been depleted at the end - I could go on for hundreds of more images.
