I only pay 120 for a year of Photographers Plan subscription: LR Classic, LR CC, PS, Bridge, and Adobe Portfolio. So not sure what your deal was but if you are happy that is what matters.

I only paid $40 one time for Affinity, love it, dumped the PS suite, no more flushing money down the drain. That makes me very happy.

HE GOT PAID the $150, as a user, for 90 minutes work. There's some working girls in my area that don't get that. So: Congrats to the OP!

I wouldn't mind the subscription plan if I shot & pp more than I do. For now its LR6 & A ffinity.

B esides he moght be talking about a bigger Adobe package. I have been getting emails for 40% off the larger package.

Non-disclosure?! That's a bit extreme for a photo course. I hope that doesn't become standard. That would cripple a forum like this.

Jack: "How can accomplish this with my camera?"

Jill: "I know, but I'm not allowed to tell you."

EDIT: "...paid 150$!" Kinda ambiguous.

If any of you all have been involved in marketing of new products, what he refers to is very standard. He was paid $150 to participate in a focus marketing group. He signed a NDA as the company (may not be LR and PS) does not want their activities publicized. They wanted to pick the brains of the participants to see how they used the product. HE DID NOT BUY ANYTHING!!!

Not sure how you know what the girls get paid. Maybe a topic for a different “forum”.

*sigh*
I am probably the only resident of my block who doesn't smoke, drink and or use illicit substances.
BUT at the corner is a liquor store with many dark places, and a mini-mall with a late night smoke shop and pizzeria. And various other eateries; that my wife likes to send me to.
These ladies have become accustomed to my presence, trust me to not mention their activities, and they seem to enjoy a bit of banter on slow nights. I am easily amused, enjoy a bit of banter meself, and the company of barely dressed females has always been a big plus for me.
And these folk have "character". 1 is a large Black man, in a stretchy dress and a Jane Jetson plastic wig, who gets more business than I'd think. 1 is maybe 5/10" and 85#- looks like someone made an alien out of pipe cleaners. The most popular seems to be a curvy toothless Mexican shorty. She gets in the car, they drive around the block, she gets out. He's smiling, she's counting, the next one's waiting.
And 1 young cutie who comes out the last weekend of the month- we figure it's just for rent money.

I am scanning many old negatives. Will Affinity convert these to positive?

Thanks

Jerry it was a Focus Group, not a class & he was paid, as I understand it. Part of the deal was he does not talk because of the ND.
