Amazon Shipping

I have been an Amazon Prime member for 15-20 years and originally I signed up because of there free Second Day FREE shipping. Now there free shipping is no longer Second Day but whenever. Last Tuesday I ordered four item all sold and shipped by Amazon and in stock, today is Saturday and none of the items show to have been shipped when I track the order. Awhile back I ordered a CD which was to ship from England, after a month and not shipped I cancelled the order. Have others found Amazon shipping to have become a problem?

I have had zero problems with amazon shipping - but I did cancel my prime as it cost more than it saved on the small amount I ordered.

Saw a report yesterday that Amazon is gearing up to offer one-day shipping in response to online competition. More local fulfillment centers, more jobs.

I have had no problems with prime shipping on time. I recently received an order within 24 hours. I order lots of stuff from Amazon which includes gift shopping and can have it shipped prime to my children living in other states. Prime has more than covered the costs I would have paid for shipping. That said, I have a few times failed to read (some Items are not covered under prime or from 3rd party vendors which will change the time table for delivery. Free/prime delivery works for me. If you really need an item and can afford the costs of express absolutely have to have it now.... Go for it :) have a great day.

I have ordered several things from Amazon this week and all have arrived in the 2 day window. Could your situation be related to where you live...a rural area perhaps? The one thing I have noticed which I really don't like is that every one of my orders is now shipping USPS. In my location if there is going to be issues it will be because of the local postal service and not due to a fault of Amazon.
Have you called Amazon and spoken with a rep as to why you are having issues?

I have experienced both, received items next day, and notified that a supposed next day item may take up to five days to arrive. Usually, it is received in two days.

Once the USPS is involved all bets are off. I bet they will be out of the equation when 1 day becomes the norm.

Same here. Two separate orders this month came less than 24 Hrs.
Ordered a circular polarizing filter for my camera last week one afternoon around 4pm. Had it the next day around 2pm.
Extraordinary service. And Amazon tv to boot.

Me too, I’ve never had a bad word for Amazon, I have in fact been a prime member several times and cancel prime before it goes contract, that way I get the free same day shipping, yes same day shipping, all for free

No problems here either. Just read that they are going to free returns at Kohl’s store in June, only had a return once but it wasn’t cheap.

Overall I’ve had two returns, both free and no arguments, I had the option of free collection or drop the packages off to a local collection agent, refund almost immediately
