I just bought mine at Best Buy. That price is great although I would check out the sellers anyway I could.

Yep. Thanks just did. Bunch of scam artist don' buy from them. Our local Wallmart has it for $369.00 with 15 days to return it.
Sams club has it for $389.00 with 90 days to return it. I'm sure tempted. Any words of encouragement?

Brought mine new on ebay for 329... I checked yesterday and it appears that the price of the SX40 is holding if not rising.... I have not seen a used one for less than $285....

If you're not in a hurry, wait a month before you buy.
They should be announcing the latest model next month, and when they do, the price of the SX40 will take a serious drop.
And there's always the chance you'll like the SX50 (or whatever they call it) even better.
