Timely in that they don't have all of congress trying to keep him down.

Seems to me that the only criterion is his ability to fool the most uninformed people into thinking he has done great accomplishments, whether it is true or not.

As you can guess, my comment was directed more at Democrat Presidents than Republicans because their base is much less informed than the Republican base.

That's a given. And they force me to think 20 seconds into the future just to stay ahead of them.

If you think that is funny, just consider that for the last two-and-a-half years the entire Democratic base believed that Donald Trump colluded with the Russians when pretty much every Conservative knew from the beginning that it was a bogus charge. All of the evidence was right there out in the open but only Conservatives had the sense to see it and ignore the zillions of fake news stories about it because we could easily see right through them.

We tried to tell you guys, but "NO, you gotta wait til the Mueller report comes out." This could easily be called the greatest case of mass hysteria in U.S. history, except for maybe Global Warming.

And now the report is a lie and Mueller is corrupt.
The job to drain the swamp is going to be a long term mission.

I never had an opinion on Obama's birthplace because I didn't care. You are right that some Republicans made a big deal out of it and they might have been wrong to believe it, but the number pales in comparison to the belief in Russian Collusion that was believed by the vast majority of Democrats, many even now after the Muller report absolved Trump.

No proof has been offered to explain any of the evidence that disputes your claim.
It was generally accepted as truth because the swamp dwellers said it was so.

So "right" and "wrong" is just a numbers game now?

I think not.

As a matter of fact, yes. If one Party has 20% of its members believe a lie, and the other Party has 80% of its members believe a lie, which Party is more in touch with reality?
