Another thing I need to learn. I have my WB set on Auto. What setting should I have had and why ? Sooooo much to learn.

I was in NYC on Sat and took a few myself, as like you I'm new at this also. Just keep on clicking. Nice shots. here are a few closer pics of the freedom tower.

I like the last one best, you should try a uv filter on your lens it will cut the haze down and make the sky bluer.
