It seems by coincidence, wood ducks came on my radar. A neighbor said she saw them nearby, but they were not there when I went. I traveled down to one of my hotspots and saw a pair (first couple of shots) but they were in shadow at the edge of the pond. I had to really think about how to capture them in shadow. They shots came out fairly well, considering. Two days later, I went looking for anything and settled for shooting geese. Lo and behold, the woodies were also hanging around! Please enjoy the downloads.

I would take those shots in shadow, Wood Ducks around me in Southern Ontario are so sketchy they fly if you stop the car let alone trying to walk up close enough to them........great set

They are all fantastic, but the last one of the pair and the water drip (even in reflection) is a wall hanger if there ever was one.
