Unusual Boulders Near Canyonlands N.P.
Strange looking formations from eons of weathered erosion. In 1998 I watched a sci-fi space movie being filmed in this location...never did see it on the "silver screen". While on a recent trip to the area, thought I'd grab a few photos that look like they may belong on Mars.
I like #2 best. Mother nature sure is diverse.
Nice shots like them all.
Along the Shafer Trail, Jim?

Good morning, Cany. On the Potash Rd. just before the Shafer Trail. The rutted, dirt road was in rough shape, washed out in places, so I didn't even try taking it to Islands in the Sky. You sure know your way around that part of the world photographing your exploits. Kent Frost's book arrives today.

One of them looks like a giant red steer skull.

Glad you are home safe, but weary...early starts and long travel days will do that to you. So, thank you for stopping by and taking a look, Sylvias!!
