I grabbed a couple of quick shots yesterday of these two amaryllis varieties in a bed in my front yard. We've been having such lousy weather and of course the red opened under cloudy conditions that are supposed to transition to full blown storms. I'd like to focus stack the red but probably won't get the chance as conditions are about to fall apart. The solid reds look like velvet but I need some decent light. Arghhh!
May time focus stacking won't work properly outside. If theres any breeze it won't align properly.

If I had a nice really dark background, I'd cut a stalk, bring it inside, & go nuts. Unfortunately, my current background stock leaves a little to be desired. It's so windy here now, there's no way to do a stack outside.
