I promised some better light photos earlier, here's one. Please download if you can take an extra minute.
Caveat: There is slight sharpening/contrast white line around the image that I will remove before printing.

Four fingers and a thumb. How about that.
No need to remove any haloing. There isn't any. Besides a little extra sharpening is always needed for prints.

It's really just a teensy tiny white line. No biggie. Thanks for checking out my efforts and taking the time to comment

Thanks much. Not a halo, but a barely perceptible white line. It was taken very near where I camped out. I'll send a couple of night shots if I get a chance.

I don't know what this halo stuff is about. What is the shadow in the foreground?

Halo is very faint; barely worth the trouble. Cool having the shadow of the other mitten also.

Thanks, Mangle. I think it is caused by a combo of contrast and sharpening. Easy (sort of a pain) to get rid of using the clone tool set to "Darken".

I thought the other shadow makes the image cool and slightly strange. I don't know if the white line shows up in a 13x19 print enough to make a difference, but ...
