Hi, I recently bought a Nikon D3100 with kit lenses and accessories. I'm just getting started on my photographic journey. Below are a couple of photos that I took and edited with light room and Photoshop. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks.

Welcome to the forum. With that last image it says you have creativity. I believe the first image needs to be lightened up and contrast beefed up. My 3 cents.

If you are going to do portraits with strobe, get familiar with fill and bounce flash. Rotate the head up and attatch a #10 white envelope to the back with a rubber band. It will make a huge difference.

The second and third shots are well done. The first is underexposed. Good work for starters!
