Hmmm....not quite to your usual standard Graham. The ruins are not one thing or another, so it could be anywhere, and it looks like a mask or layer has accidentally moved, leaving a smoke trail from the building into the sky - perhaps it’s just been pillaged! I do like the foreground. Colours are spot-on and the subject is close to home for me.

Detail in the rope coils make it for me. The lobster / crab pots just happen to fall in line conveniently but your exposure has managed to bring some detail into the shadow. Agree with magnetoman on the buildings although as they are separated from the pots they're not a visual hindrance.
Love how the moodiness of the sky contrasts with the vivid colors - great job!
