Does anyone know if PS Elements 14 can handle NEF files from a Nikon D7200? I assume it can but not positive. I’m looking to get a D7200 body and use my D7000 as a backup. Would like to stick with Elements 14 but I could get 2019 if I must.

The D7200 requires Camera Raw 9.0

Elements 14 shipped with 9.0 and there was an update to 9.5

You should be good to go.

Don't know about 14 but my D7200 works with 15.
Best option, try it. You can always get the new version.

Thank you so much Bill. I’ll go ahead and get that D7200 body at B&H with their $400 discount. Includes a battery and shoulder bag. I suspect the discount is because they won’t be selling new D7200's anymore. I got my D7000 at a $300 discount because the D7100's had just come out. The D7200 is plenty of camera for me. Thanks again

I have elements 14 and it handles nef files from my Nikon d5000.

I have used PS Elements 13 to process my D7200 NEFs with success.

Besides using the Elements RAW converter I suggest to also convert your Nikon NEF files using Nikon NX-D and then comparing the results. I noticed that Capture NX-D often provides better skin tones than third party RAW converters and also gives you the ability to adjust many Nikon camera specific settings. Nikon Capture NX-D can be downloaded for free from the Nikon download site.
