WTB USB Cable and Clip For D810

Okay Hoggers, Someone out there must have the USB 3 Cable, and the Plastic Retaining clip that shipped with your D810. I Have a project coming up that I need to tether my camera. Although I have a short USB Cable that kind of works, its lose and I fear it will make the USB port sloppy in time.

I Want to buy the Nikon USB Cable and clip if someone has it. PM Me with your price.

Thanks,
-Gary

Have you tried B&H or Adorama? I had to replace a cable for my Sigma Dock and they had it at a reasonable price.

Finding a USB3 Cable is no problem. But the 2 I've purchased wont fit the OEM Clip without somehow modifying either the cable or the clip. That's why I'm looking for the Nikon Parts.
I Actually found the Clip on Nikons site for $2.00 or $3.00 & Change. But couldn't find the cable. That's why I'm hoping someone has the Nikon parts that came with their D810.

Bob, Yes that's true. I can find the clip. In Fact heres a link from Nikons site. https://parts.nikonusa.com/en/nikon-products/product/dslr-parts/1109y/d810%2c-d810a-usb-cable-support-clip.html the problem is finding a cable where the end isn't longer than the clip. Sure USB3 Cables are available all over the place for a reasonable cost, its the fitment into the clip that's an issue.

Besides, someone must have one in their box that they don't use or want, and I'd rather buy from a Hog than some unknown on eBay.

I had the same problem with the Sigma, was able to purchase it from Adorama, if you have already searched there then my advise is of no use, if you have not you should give it a try, I was able to purchase an OEM cable.

Nikon, Adorama & B&H are out of stock. Then there's always the possibility they're selling a compatible USB Cable, and not really the NIKON Part. The only way I feel I can be sure, is getting one from someone that has it in their box. I Went this route with My D800..... Probably bought 4 cables and 2 clips, and STILL never got the right one for fitment.

Oh well, I have the direct line to Canon Parts, you can get anything Canon there but that won't help you..... Wonder if Nikon has something similar, was able to by a skin for my camera directly from Canon and other items as well.

Good luck with your search.
